The 2025 QLD Pedalprix Super Series will consist of nine events across Queensland. The series is for school and community teams, racing in a single seat, Human Powered Vehicles only, which comply with the Queensland Pedalprix Specifications.
Each school takes responsibility for their own team’s training, equipment and risk management and agree to compete according to the rules of the competition.
In 2024, 72 teams from 27 schools competed across the state.
To qualify for a State Title; teams must compete in four events in the same category, one of which must be an endurance event.
There are three types of events:
Enduro’: 16 hour overnight event
Sprint: 6 – 8 hour daytime event
Twilight 20: Riders change every 20 minutes
For the first time, we have a primary (years 5/6) category. *Standard race conditions will apply.
**NSW and SA teams have been invited to compete in QLD at no entry fees
Transponders: Schools can now buy a transponder for their trike for $150 that will last 5 years or rent one for $20 per event
We are going to Murray Bridge, SA again in 2025. Race dates are be 19-21 September.
We will depart from Brisbane on Wednesday 17th and return by Tuesday 23 September.
The distance to travel is 1,945km.
Last year we took a community team. This year we will take teams by bus (To reduce costs) and enter teams based on application responses.
Available categories are: Year 7-9, Year 10-12 and Community (Past Students). We will take two staff members per team from available schools and a separate bus driving teams.
